Vangellea Gibson's Obituary
Vangellea Gibson of Dunbar passed away on June 9, 2008 after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chilton C. Gibson and grandson, Kevin Americo.
She is survived by three daughters, Vangellea Americo and husband Peter of South Charleston, Carol Board and husband Thomas of Morgantown and Joanna Vealey of FL; Two step-daughters, Shirley Ashley and husband Ern of Goldsboro, NC and Jeannette Gardner of Chicago, IL; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Vangellea retired from the U.S. Attorney's office after 20 plus years of service.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 12, in the chapel at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, with the Rev. David A. Bush officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers please make donation to the American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Boulevard, Charleston, WV 25309.
