Vangellea Thornton's Obituary
Vangellea Thornton, 89, of Dunbar went to be with The Lord on October 30, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Thornton; son, James A. Thornton; and parents, Walter and Draxie Johnson.
Vangellea is survived by son, Larry Thornton and wife Ruth of Dunbar; grandchildren, John, Jennifer, and Matt Thornton of St. Albans, and David Elkins of Cincinnati, OH, Michael and Craig Elkins of Frame; and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 1, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Dr. Okey Harless officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
