Vesta Moore-George, 86, of Charleston, went to her heavenly home on Friday, November 24, 2017

She was loved deeply by her sisters, children, step-children, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, church family and friends.

Those who knew Vesta knew that she had unwavering faith in God. She was a devoted Christian, and she loved to praise the Lord and tell others about Jesus. She showed everyone she came in contact with kindness and love. She loved to cook, and was an extremely hard worker. She taught our family to trust in the Lord, be kind, and helpful to others. These are life lessons we shall all carry on until we re-unite with her in heaven.

A special thank you to the medical professionals that provided her with care.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, November 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Steve Samples and Pastor John Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
