Vickie J. Withrow, 61, of Leon, formerly of Hurricane, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

She was born on October 6, 1956, in Charleston, to the late Thomas Edward and Dorothy Lee Byrd.

Vickie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Alton Withrow; brothers, Thomas Edward Byrd Jr. and Vincent Huffman.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Harrington and husband Alan of Culloden, Renee Gress of Tenn.; sons, Gary Bellamy and wife Barbara of Hurricane, Stephen Withrow and wife Melissa of Leon; step-son, David Withrow and wife Krissy of Wisc.; brothers, Mark Byrd and wife Velice of Charleston, Gary Huffman and wife Nona of Charleston, Frank Byrd of Ala; sisters, Jan Byrd of Nitro, Yvonne Milam and husband David of Hurricane, Carolyn Smith and husband Paul of St. Albans; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Richard Neal officiating. Entombment will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
