Victor M. Parsons' Obituary
Victor M. Parsons, 75, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Putnam Care and Rehabilitation, after a long illness.
He was a retired truck driver, having last worked for Smith Transfer Co. and was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Parsons was a member of the Fairlawn Baptist Church in Dunbar.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Ruth Parsons and Faye Jones Parsons and by his daughter, Vicky Parsons.
Surviving are his daughter, Debra Parsons of Dunbar; brother, Dorsey Parsons; and sister, Patricia Thacker of Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 23, at the Fairlawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Fairlawn Baptist Church, 500 20th Street, Dunbar, WV 25064.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
