Viola B. Nichols' Obituary
Viola B. "Vi" Nichols, 65, of Nitro, passed away Dec. 6, 2006 at Hubbard Hospice House after a 4 year battle with cancer.
She was an administrative secretary for Union Carbide and retired with 29 years of service and was a member of First Church United Methodist in Dunbar.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her very loving and devoted husband of 40 years and 4 days, Charles "Nick" Nichols and her brother, Charles E. Higginbotham of Alexandria, Va. "Vi" is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to HospiceCare, 1143 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
