Violet Frances Donohoe, 83, of Dunbar, formerly of Nitro, passed away on January 27, 2017.

Violet was a homemaker and caregiver. She devoted much of her time to her family and others. She was a member of the Nitro Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Donohoe; son, Randy Donohoe; grandson, Chris Page; and numerous siblings.

Violet is survived by her sons, Robert Donohoe and John Donohoe; daughters, Linda Canterbury, Robin Dennison, and Kelly Holt; and grandchildren, Katie Boggs, Holly Donohoe, Haley Donohoe, Ashley Gagne, Kasey Samaraweera, Paul Cooley, Megan Holt, and Brandon Holt.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 3, at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
