Violet Louise Riffle, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, took her heavenly flight on April 19, 2017 at the young age of 90 to join her husband, Sam.

She is survived by her daughter, Cora Legg (Leroy); granddaughter, Polly Blaylock (David); grandsons, Randy Legg and TJ Legg (Renitta); 6 great grandchildren, Kat Blaylock Egnor, Tyler Blaylock, Andrew Legg, Miranda Blankenship, Sydney Legg and Kelsey Legg; 5 great-great grandchildren, Malachi, Lyric, Payton, Preston and Kara.

She lived a long, hard working and busy life. She was one of the Rosie the Riveters that worked in the ship yards as a welder.

As her only child, I learned a strong work ethic and she instilled in me the desire to be the best I could be. She was an amazing woman of strength and her pride in her family was very evident. I will miss our morning coffee and breakfast and our goodnight kiss before bed every night. The last eight months she has lived with us the mother/daughter bond was strengthened. We have been truly blessed to have her with us so long. I will forever miss her presence, but I can still feel her love all around us all.
