Obituary

Virginia Mildred Jackson, 95, of South Charleston, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Valley Center.

She was born in Sissonville on May 3, 1918, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bert Holley. She retired from Charleston Memorial Hospital as a dietician and was a member of the Charleston Mountain Mission.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank T. Smith and Thomas F. Jackson; sisters, Sadie and Betty Holley; and brothers, the Rev. Claude E. Holley, Herbert F. Holley, Willie L. Holley, Donald E. Holley and Robert Lee Holley.

Surviving are her brother, Everette N. Holley and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.

Friends may call one hour prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
