Virginia L. Martin, 89, of Hurricane, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

She was born on June 28, 1930, in Cottageville, to the late Charles and Flora McKay.

Virginia will be greatly missed by her family as well as the staff and residents of Elmcroft Assisted Living.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Martin; and brother, Charles McKay.

Virginia is survived by her son Philip Rush and his wife Kay of Mooresville, NC; sister, Regena Miller of Eleanor; grandsons, Steven Rush of Charlotte, NC, Eric Rush and his wife Chelsea of Charlotte, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Miller family for all their love and support and also to the staff and residents of Elmcroft Assisted Living and Hospicecare.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, with Pastor David McCormick officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
