Obituary

Vivian May Kiser Rice, 91, of Kanawha City, went home on January 20, 2006, after a short illness.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and an accomplished bowler. She was retired from Kanawha Banking and Trust Company (now United Bank) and was a charter member of The Bible Center Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles H. Rice and a son, Charles H. Rice, Jr.

Mrs. Rice is survived by her sons, Richard G. Rice of Hurricane, Meredith K. Rice of South Charleston and Leland M. Rice of Tioga, Fla.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Genevieve McClure of Poca, Frances Hill and Phyllis Hawes, both of Dunbar and a brother, Gorman Kiser of South Charleston.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, January 23 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Shawn Thornton at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 24 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Building Fund of The Bible Center Church, 1111 Oakhurst Drive, Charleston, WV 25314.
