Wanda E. "Dolly" Hamric, 83, of St. Albans, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009.
Miss Hamric was born in Sutton, WV on April 6, 1926 to Orville and Freda Hamric. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1953 and was a member of the Charleston West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a zealous proclaimer of her faith. It was her desire to share her faith with others and was affectionately known by those who worked along with her as part of the "over the hill" gang.
Miss Hamric is survived by her only sister, Lillian G. McClure.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 30, at the Dunbar Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 601 King Street, Dunbar, WV, with John J. Roncaglione officiating.
She was a loving and devoted sister and was always known for her easy going spirit and happy personality. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
