Wanda N. (McCutcheon) Miller, 90, of Cross Lanes, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at SweetBriar Assisted Living, Dunbar.

She was born on January 22, 1927 to the late Albert and Martha (Jenkins) McCutcheon.

Wanda attended Stonewall Jackson High School and worked in the credit department at the Diamond Department Store. She resided in Cross Lanes for 60 plus years and was a member of the Community Chapel Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Miller; sisters, Opal Brown, Juanita Layne and Ellen Miller; brothers, Roy McCutcheon, Junior McCutcheon, Adam McCutcheon and Charles McCutcheon; grandson, Richie Rinehart.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Ann Garrett (Jerry) of Cross Lanes, Paula Sheler (Carl) of Moore, OK; son, Mike Miller (Teresa) of Cross Lanes; sister, Betty Fisher (Lyle) of Dunbar; grandchildren, Tricia Humphreys (Greg), Brian Garrett (Katy), Chris Sheler (Tiffany), Heather Sheler, Amber Rinehart and Jessie Thompson (David); great-grandchildren, Brooke Humphreys, Joshua Humphreys, Savannah Garrett, Claire Garrett, Abi Sheler, Sera Sheler, Jonathan Segal, Jenna Jo Thompson and Michael Thompson; very special nieces and nephews; special friends, Laura Combs, Ethel Parsons and Teresa Calhoun; and a host of friends.

A special thanks to her friends, nurses, staff and caregivers at SweetBriar Assisted Living in Dunbar. She loved them all and they made her stay at SweetBriar feel like home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Jim Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
