Wanda June Summers' Obituary
Wanda June Summers, 80, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2016.
She was born on June 15, 1935 in Roane County to the late Okey and Macel Gandee.
Wanda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Ravenswood. She was the caretaker to many. Wanda was a loving wife and everyone's mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy M. Summers, one brother and six sisters.
Wanda is survived by her sons; Jimmy "Steve" Summers and wife, Jaime, of Elizabeth, Timothy Summers and wife, Regina, of Utica, OH, Paul Summers and wife, Marie, of Statesville, NC; sisters, Violet Donahoe of Charleston, Barbara McKinney of Dunbar; grandsons, Matthew Summers, Shawn Summers and Lucas Hall; granddaughters, Lorna Summers, Amber Summers, Nikki Summers, Amanda Summers, Suzan Summers and Rain Hurst; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday March 11, 2016 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Reverend Dr. Okey Harless officiating.
Friends and family may call two hours prior to service.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
