Wayne Gary Gibson, 77, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

He was born on May 11, 1946 to the late Orville Gibson and Nora Moore Gibson.

Wayne was proud to serve his country in the Vietnam War.

He had two sons Shawn and Wayne, Jr.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Patty; sister, Shirley Gibson; and brothers, Ed, James, Glen, Ricky, and David Gibson.

He is survived by sons Shawn Gibson his wife Brittany and their child Layne, along with Wayne Gibson, Jr. his two children Wayne Patrick,  and Gabrielle along with their mother, Shannon Baty.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21 at 2:30 p.m. in Donal C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Institute.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
