William S. "Billy" Betts, 37, of Charleston, passed away Friday, January 20, 2006, at CAMC – General Division of a heart attack.
He was suddenly taken away from all who loved him dearly. He was born August 28, 1968 in Charleston, the son of Jean Harrold of Dunbar.
Billy was a super loving father and a super loving and devoted husband. His wife, Lisa Ann Murdock Betts followed him in death one day later.
Billy was an EMT and was employed by CAMC as a Med Base Dispatcher. He had also been a member of the Charleston Police Dept. Auxiliary.
Surviving are his daughters, Kelsy and Brandi of Charleston; his mother, Jean Harrold of Dunbar; grandmother, Orda Offutt of Creston, OH; one brother, John Miller of Creston, OH; two sisters, Barbara Taylor of Nitro and Stacy Hooton of Arlington, TX; Billy had aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who loved him deeply.
He will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 24th, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, where Billy's co-workers will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 23rd, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
