Obituary

William "Bill" Edward Breeden, 87, of Tyler Mountain passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Thomas Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.

Bill, a marine veteran, was a Christian with a strong sense of family and a strong work ethic. From a very young age, Bill worked many jobs to provide for his loved ones. His favorite job, which will be his legacy, was that of a stone mason. Bill's talent enabled him to start a business (Breeden Stone) and over the years he taught the trade to his sons and grandsons. Bill's love of the family's stone business was only surpassed by his love for his family. We will always remember his big strong hands, his deep soothing voice, his sense of humor and his loving heart.

Bill was born May 6, 1927 to the late Elizabeth and Okey Ab Breeden. He was also preceded in death by his oldest son, James Edward Breeden; daughter-in-law , Bonnie Breeden; siblings Okey Breeden, Jr., Effie Bennett, Aubrey Tex Breeden and Robert (Bob) Breeden.

Left to cherish Bill's memory is his wife of 69 years, Eva Imogene Breeden; along with sons, Danny Lee and wife, Brenda Breeden, of Florida and William Arnold and wife, Sherry Breeden, of Tyler Mountain; grandchildren, Karen Lilly, Scott and wife, Candy Breeden, Matt Breeden, Jonnie and wife, Tabby Breeden, Steve and wife, Diane Breeden, Sean and wife, Mary Breeden and Mike Breeden; great grandchildren, Ashleigh Stamper, Jeremy Willingham, Tyler Breeden, Katie Breeden and Danielle Reese; great-great grandchildren, Chase Stamper, Bella Breeden and Carter Little; siblings, Arlen "Dick" Breeden and companion, Gaye Landers, Doris "Toddy" (Perry) Harrison, Marshall "Doc" and wife, Ethel Breeden, Johnny and wife, Linda Breeden, Roger and wife, Ginger Breeden, Gary Breeden, Thomas "Tommy" and wife, Toni Breeden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
