William M. "Bill" Hannan, 82, of South Charleston, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008 at his home.
He was retired from the Pipefitters Union Local #625 and also worked as a butcher. Mr. Hannan was a member of the Smith Creek Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kay Hannan and parents, Garland and Sally Hannan.
Surviving are his loving wife, Lovella Foster Hannan; sons, Garland W. Hannan of Spring Hill, William Hannan, Jr. of Alum Creek and Kermit Hannan of South Charleston; daughter, Debbie Gregg of Davis Creek; brothers, Charles Hannan of Dunbar and Jim Hannan of St. Albans; sisters, Elizabeth "Sis" Beach of Spring Hill and Jean Higgins of Mink Shoals. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dewey Bourne and the Rev. Buck Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
