William Henry Hall, 88, of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29, 2018.
He was born on July 28, 1930, in Corbin, to the late Elbert Sr. and Clara Hall.
William was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was very patriotic. He retired from C&P Telephone Company after over 40 years of service. He loved his children and grandchildren very much and was always present in their lives.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two beloved daughters, Sharon "Du-J" and Deborah Hall; brothers, Elbert Hall Jr., James Lee Hall, Keith J. Hall, Eldridge C. Hall Sr., John Hall; sisters, Marian Ross, Mary E. Robinson, and Barbara Phillips.
William will be tremendously missed by those surviving him, his beloved wife of 63 years, Mildred Hall; sons, William "Pooney" Hall Jr. of St. Albans, Tyrone D. Hall (Leslie) of Seattle, WA, Brian P. Hall (Christine) of St. Albans; daughters, Peggy Hall (Garvey) of Institute, Cheryl Hall of Dunbar, Amber Hall (granddaughter) of Charleston; brothers, David Hall (Lawanda) of Columbus, OH, Buster Hall (Rolanda) of Charleston; baby sister, Stella Patterson (James) of St. Albans; grandchildren, Natasha Baldwin, Marcus Price, Shane Hall, Adam Price, Brittany Hall, Brianna Hall, DeCarlo Hall, Taylor Campana, Malachia Coping, and Sarayah Haley; 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Rev. Dr. Braxton Broady officiating. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Institute.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
