William Mason Herrald's Obituary
William "Bill" Mason Herrald, 82, passed away on October 15, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Glasgow.
Bill was born on April 19, 1929 in Crown Hill. He played baseball in the Mountain State League and was a member of the 1947 state runner up baseball team.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Dyer Herrald; brothers, Gene, Warren and Lional Herrald and sister, Vivian Crawford.
Surviving are his four sons, Donnie Lee Herrald (Patty) of St Albans, Lionel Mason Herrald of Weston, William Edward Herrald (Mary Sue) of Weston, Charles Gene Herrald (Nelda) of Indiana; daughter, Deborah Ann Hale of Milton. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald James Herrald and sister, Marilyn Cook. Bill also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 3 great grand children and 1 great great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 18 at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
