William Isaac Wright's Obituary
William "Bill" Isaac Wright, 87, of Nitro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 7, 2011.
He was born September 8, 1924 in Clay County to the late Hyre Clay Wright and Anna King Wright. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Upon completing his service in the Navy, Bill worked for R.H. Kyle Furniture. He then went on to work for the U.S. Postal service and retired with 30 years of service.
Bill is survived by his sons, William "Bill" Wright and his wife Pat of Michigan, James "Jim" Wright of Michigan, Robert "Joe" Wright of Dunbar; daughter, Julie Wright Brooks and her husband Steve of Nitro; sister, Doris Jones of Poca; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. And long time friend, Richard A. Walz of Buffalo.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Chaplin Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
