William "Bill" Roy, 83, of Dunbar, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

He was a retired electrician from Union Carbide, Institute Plant. Bill attended Bible Center Church, Charleston. He spent many years coaching baseball at Midwestern Ball Field.

Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris Roy; son, Dan Roy and wife Diane; daughter, Janet Burford and husband, Tom; brother, Jack Roy and wife Flo; aunt, Fanna Powell; grandchildren, Bill Burford and wife Allison, Ben Burford; and great-grandson, Brooks Burford.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, April 17 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, April 18 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Jim McQuerrey officiating. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
