William D. Sizemore, 86, of Nitro, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2007, in Oakridge Center, after a short illness of Lymphoma cancer.
Bill retired from Elk Refining, Inc. He served as pastor for over 40 years at a variety of churches in the area.
He was preceded in death by Lucy Sizemore, Wayne Sizemore, and David Sizemore.
Mr. Sizemore is survived by his wife, Christine Sizemore; son, Donald Sizemore, and his wife, Opal of Pinch; daughter, Pat Marconnet, and her husband Jim, of Alabama; stepsons, Michael W. Williams of Ripley, Donald Ray Williams of Wyoming, MI; brothers, Charles Sizemore of Lizemore, Larry Sizemore, and his wife, Ann, of Tennessee; sister, Martha Harrington of Nitro; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, at Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
