William M. "Bill" Young, 91, of Dunbar, went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2008 at the home of his daughter, Patricia Neatfeld-Allen after a short illness.

He was born February 29, 1916 in Clendenin to the late Lawrence and Ollie Young and graduated from Clendenin High School. Mr. Young was an active member of the Dunbar First Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Geneva M. Young and by three sisters, Mildred Shafer, Willis Boatwright and Lucy Mae Jackson.

Surviving are his son, Dewayne Young of Mississippi; two daughters, Patricia Neatfeld-Allen of Dunbar and Donna Beck of Indiana; three sisters, Levina Nida and Blanche Looney of Walton and Louise Coe of Clendenin. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 19, at the Dunbar First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ned Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Curtis Cemetery, Roane County.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
