Wilma Jean Lambert Smith, 89, of Dunbar, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

She was born on February 11, 1933 in Dunbar, to the late Jack and Julia Goad.

Wilma was a long standing member of the Dunbar Woman's Club, Dunbar Athletics Boosters and volunteered at St. Francis Hospital for many years.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by first husband, Arthur "Sonny" Lambert; second husband, Neal Smith; brothers, Norval Goad, Dickie Goad; and sisters, Wanda Veazey and Nancy Gardner.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Karen Rosen (David) of Dunbar; grandchildren, Bryan Rosen (Melissa) of South Charleston, Dawn "Sissi" Slack (Robert) of Oak Island, NC; great grandchildren, Drew Orcutt/Rosen (Mackenzie) of Tampa, FL, Allie Rosen of South Charleston, Alecia Slack Chartraw (Zack) of Huntersville, NC, Trevor Slack, of Mooresville, NC, Savannah Slack of Oak Island, NC; great-great grandchildren, Roe Nattie and Kia Orcutt/Rosen of Tampa, FL; brother, John Goad (Carol) of South Carolina; and her special friend, Joe McClain of Dunbar.

There will be no services.
