Woodrow Wilson McClanahan, 88, of Poca, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2006 in Moss' Golden Years, Cross Lanes.
Woodrow retired from Monsanto and attended Dunbar Mountain Mission.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby McClanahan; mother, Carrie McClanahan; brothers, Attison McClanahan, Denver McClanahan, Arnie McClanahan.
Mr. McClanahan is survived by his sons, Paul McClanahan of Hurricane, Jack McClanahan of Poca; daughter, Renee Frost of Canton, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Teanie McClanahan; sister, Alice Ruth Shafer; grandchildren, Jill Justice, Jay McClanahan, Jon McClanahan, Jeff Hershberger, Jennifer Hershberger, Paul E. McClanahan, Drew McClanahan, Kama Darr; great grandchildren, Joy Justice, Rhys Darr, Piper Darr, Julian Hershberger.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Helen Moss and her staff at Moss' Golden Years for their wonderful care of Mr. McClanahan.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, September 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, September 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
