Woodrow Willard Jr., 69, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

He was born on October 15, 1952, in Charleston, to the late Woodrow Sr., and Doris Willard.

Woodrow grew up in Tyler Mountain and owned Door Specialities and Willard's Builders. He excelled as an auto mechanic as well as electrical, plumbing, construction, garage door installation and repair and locksmithing. Woodrow built the Grazianos in Teays Valley in record time. He enjoyed watching westerns, car auctions, and Fox News.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Jones; and niece, Tiffany Reynolds.

Woodrow is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Connie Willard; son, Marvin Willard of Charleston; daughter, Tiara Kirkland and husband Christopher of Melrose, FL; grandsons, Noah Willard, Christopher Kirkland Jr., Cameron Kirkland and Landyn Willard; sister, Anna Reynolds of Buffalo; nephew, Jeremy Reynolds of Charleston; and many cousins.

A memorial will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6 in the activity building at Charleston Mountain Mission.
