Obituary

Wyndham R. Skeens, 72, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Dunbar, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 in Clearwater, FL.

He was an underwater welder and had been involved with the initial development of Walt Disney World, Orlando, the Sunshine Skyline Bridge, Top of the World condominiums, and the seawall at Fort Desoto Park in Florida. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of the Clearwater Chapter of Disabled American Veterans; AMVETS; American Legion, Largo; Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Skeens is survived by his wife, Esther Skeens; sons, David Skeens of Dunbar, Jim Skeens of South Charleston; daughter, Diana Haberfield of Dunbar; five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
