Wyvette Renee Oxley, 65, of Sissonville, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 after a on and off long battle with cancer.

Wyvette, the daughter of the late Raymond an Emogene Thomas Oxley, was born in Charleston, WV on January 17, 1958 and raised in the Sissonville area where she lived until her death.

Wyvette was a mother and a grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Keith, Terry, and Dickie Oxley; and sisters, Debbie McMillion and Cathy Renita Oxley.

Left to cherish Wyvette's memory are her daughter, Brittany Carpenter and her son, Brock Carpenter; sisters-in-law, Marylin Oxley and Betty Oxley; brother, Dana Oxley; and a host of family and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 14 at Burdette Cemetery, Sissonville.
