She was proceeded in death by her parents, George and Doris Allagas; first husband, Samuel "Mokey" Staats; brother, Mark Allagas; and sister, Katherine "Kathy" Boling.
Evie is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Whitlock; son, Jeremy Staats and his wife Amanda; daughter, Samantha Staats; daughter, Shannon Staats; daughter/granddaughter, Jaden Pridemore; step-daughter, Tasha Whitlock; step-son, Michael Whitlock; sister, Leigh Ann Smith; brother, Michael Allagas; brother, Matthew Allagas; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
