John William Schuman, 88 of Cross Lanes went to be with the Lord Feb. 23.

He was an Army Veteran,  Christian, member of the Gideons and Masonry Contractor.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabell; and son, Johnny Wayne.

John is survived by his second wife, Gloria Joan;  sons, Raymond (Serena) of Charleston, Larry of FL; daughters, Gail (Melissa) of Eleanor, Deborah (Joe) of VA, and Jenny (Bill) of Cross Lanes; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He is rejoicing in Heaven and will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will following in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service and Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
