Linda Carol Rowley, 65, of Dunbar, passed away on February 12, 2018.

Linda was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Willard and Jewell Wray on August 25, 1952. She has been in Dunbar since 1955 when her family moved here for her father's career. She has been a Mountaineer ever since.

Linda was a 1970 graduate of Dunbar High School and attended WV State College. She worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Bible Center Christian School, Rowley's Market, and her favorite job was working as a Teacher's Aid for Kanawha County Schools. She loved all the little children she helped.

She was a Team Mom in baseball for both of her sons throughout the years. Linda and her family took several vacation and baseball trips to California, which she enjoyed immensely. Nothing thrilled her more than watching her children performing in church programs and sports.

Linda will always be remembered for her outer and inner beauty, as well as always putting everyone before herself. An example is when her mother-in-law, Irene Rowley, took sick with cancer, Linda moved in with her and cared for her 24/7 for 3 months before she passed.

Linda will be forever missed but not forgotten.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kent Rowley .

Linda is survived by her husband, Ron Rowley; her son, Kevin Rowley; loving siblings, Lana Hammond (Joe) of Sissonville and Roger Wray (Susan) of Kenna.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Teresa Markins and Pastor John Mason officiating. Entombment will be in Grandview Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 16, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
