Shirley Jean Ranson's Obituary
Shirley Jean Ranson passed away the 19th day of March, 2012, at Hubbard Hospice House West.
She was born February 9, 1935, the daughter of Otis Sheral Tolley and Zelma Withrow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mona Lynn Ranson.
She retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways after 41 years of service and was a former member of various clubs and organizations.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Harold L. Ranson; daughter, Lesa Kay Jones (James E.); granddaughter, Jamey Lynn Jones; brother, James M. Tolley (Nancy); sister-in-law, Gwena Kay Riley (Isaac); father-in-law, Walter F. Ranson and several nieces and nephews.
A private remembrance of her life will be held at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. John A. Mason officiating.
Donations may be sent in her memory to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Boulevard, W., Charleston, WV 25312-2536 (www.hospicecarewv.org) or to the Dunbar United Methodist Church, 1401 Myers Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
