"Soke" Ronald L. Hughes, 68, of South Charleston passed away on March 8, 2020.

Soke, was founder of Nai-Huan-Chi Karate Union Incorporated which was made a WV Charter School in 1988.

Ronald was also an avid participant in the reenactments of the 1800's, where he was commonly known as "Thumper".
